From L'Ala d'Italia 1933: "Born in Brescia on 4.1.1894. He followed the nautical studies. Officer of the Navy during the war, at the end of 1917, he became a hydro pilot. It was in 1924 in the Spanish military aviation taking part with the same to the Ispano - Moroccan campaign; he was one of the founders of the Fascio of Barcelona. It is decorated with a bronze medal for the valor of Marina, the cross of war and the military medal in the Moroccan countryside. He passed in 1930 to the High Sea Air Navigation School with the post of Second Commander. He is decorated with a gold medal for aeronautical value for having participated in the Transatlantic Air Cruise."

From L'ala d'Italia 1933: "Born in Trieste on December 7, 1905. In 1924 he graduated from long-term captain. In October 1924 he entered the Air Force Academy; in August 1927 he was appointed Lieutenant and in July 1928 he patented a military pilot on a hunting machine. From July 1929 to May 1931 he was at the Scuola Caccia as a flight instructor and chief pilot. He was promoted to Captain in October 1932."
