From L'Ala d'Italia 1933: "He was born in Cogoleto Ligure on January 11, 1900. He graduated from a long-term captain in 1918 and sailed in the merchant navy. In 1920 he was called to arms. Released from the R. Naval Academy with the rank of ensign then obtained the patent of military pilot in 1921. Having left a series of adventurous journeys in the merchant marine, until, constituted in 1923 the R. Aeronautica, entered as an officer in the employment squadron distinguishing himself in the piloting of all types of devices. He was among the first hydrovolantists to experiment with catapult. He took part in the ItalÃa-Brazil Cruise to Bolama where he left unharmed by a serious take-off incident."

From l'Ala d'Italia 1933: "He was born in Brianzone (Sondrio) on January 18, 1902; enlisted on March 26, 1923 in the R. Aeronautica. He was a pilot student and an official student in August 1923 and was appointed as a military pilot on 18 June 1924. He was part of the High Speed Department for three years and in 1929 he took part in the Schneider Cup. Decorated with a bronze medal for aeronautical value and bronze medal for long air navigation. Squadrist of the "Randaccio" of Milan in 1921-22 participated in the Marcia on Rome with the action teams of Valtellina."

Born on 11 April 1906 in Pietraperzia (province of Enna), he took the oath on 17 April 1926 at the head of the Capua Specialty School.
Enlisted as a volunteer at the specialized school of the Regia Aeronautica in Capua for the two-year-old firm, as a specialized aviation student of radio-telegraphy operators.
Result suitable for final exams of the course with the vote of 19.75 out of 20 and ranked the first out of 23 eligible students. Promoted to have chosen in 1927, promoted first aveere in 1929.
He participated in the second Atlantic cruise as an I-RECA marconist in 1933.
Promoted to sergeant in 1933, Sergeant Major in 1935, Marshal Third Class in 1938.
Transferred to AOI and boarded in Naples in 1939; disembarked in Massaua, assigned to Iavello airport. Transferred to the Radio of Rocca Littorio in 1940, transferred to the Neghelli airport, then to the Sciasciamanne airport in 1941.
Transferred to the Gimma airport, he fell prisoner of the English at Gimma on 21 June 1941.
Repatriated for imprisonment, landed in Naples and recovered by the CAR on January 10, 1947.
Sent under license of repatriation of 60 days, presented to the command Presidio Aeronautico detachment force absent of Udine April 1, 1947.
