From l'Ala d'Italia 1933: "He was born in Naples on June 15, 1901. Marina officer from 1921; to the constitution of the R. Aeronautica he was transferred to his application in the new Arma and obtained the military pilot's license in 1924. He made his service in Squadriglia and for his skills as a pilot and navigator he was often chosen as a pilot of high personalities. In 1927 he completed the Rome-Massaua raid on the «S. 59 ». During his stay in Cologne he distinguished himself for numerous flights in the Red Sea and in Jemen. On his return to Italy he was assigned to the Experimental Squadron of Vigna di Valle. He participated in the Italy-Brazil Cruise; he was forced to drown on the Atlantic Ocean during the transatlantic Bolama-Porto Christmas. It is decorated with a silver medal for aeronautical value."

From L'Ala d'Italia 1933: "He was born in Ancona on 7 October 1904. He joined the Fascio di Rovigo in 1920. He took part in the March on Rome. In 1924 he was a student of the R. Aeronautical Academy; he became an airplane observer in 1926; Second lieutenant in S.P.E. in August 1928 and military pilot in the same year. He was promoted to Captain in October 1932."
