Appointed seaplane pilot in 1924 he served in various departments including the 2nd Experimental Center for the military testing of new types of seaplanes. Promoted by choice to the rank of Captain, he currently holds the office of flight attendant of S.E. the Chief of Staff of the R. Aeronautica. He participated as a pilot on the Transatlantic Italy-Brazil air cruise. Lover of the motor sport: winner of the 1932 Pavia-Venice raid, of which he holds the speed record. It is decorated with a gold medal for aeronautical valor." |
